FF was asked to participate in the Walmart Corporate Picnic this past Friday in Springdale. Brave adults, Leon and Amanda, took 14 kids (and one grandbaby) to help man the event. They prepared and served over 5000 people. The handed out over 4000 funnel cakes, 4000 snocones,4000 handmade lemonades, corn dogs, and popcorn.
The owners of Flossie Funnel Cakes, who were contracted by Walmart for this event, said that our youth were the best and couldn't have found any better help. They will be using our group again.
Thanks to them we received a $1000.00 donation for our group, a free meal ; ), and a $100.00 for our fuel cost.
PS Amanda was not slowed down a bit by the fact that she had her grandbaby in a front carrier.
